Sermorelin, also known as sermorelin acetate, is a man-made version of the natural hormone growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It has been developed explicitly for its effect on growth hormone deficiency.
In cases where there is insufficient production of growth hormones leading to stunted or delayed physical development, Sermorelin can help potentiate the release of GH from the pituitary gland. Sermorelin also has a diagnostic value by assessing how well a subject’s pituitary gland functions in releasing these essential hormones.
